Philosophy - Shared experiences of all kinds contribute to an esprit de corps among
teams. The flip side of formal, serious team building exercises is the Saucy Sisters
approach. Our corporate team building workshop focuses on humor, newly-acquired knowledge and
interaction among participants to promote teamwork and positive group dynamics.
Team Building Objectives
- To challenge participants to create new lines of communication
- To level the playing field and give all participants equal opportunity to contribute
- To have fun!
The Saucy Sisters will instruct your group on how to taste wine and how
to describe what they taste. We will cover such topics as:
- One wine, ten opinions - why people taste differently
- The physiology of taste - the tongue versus the nose
- Why swirl and what to do next
- Wine geek words describing taste
How It Works - Participants are assigned to tasting teams, and each team is divided
into Group A and Group B. After a briefing on tasting and tasting terms, participants are
challenged to blind-taste three wines and communicate enough information to their team so
teammates can identify which wine is which. Team scores are tabulated, and awards are
presented. It’s fun! It’s educational! And it boosts verbal communication skills among
teammates.
